Saxophone player / composer Teo Macero (1925-2008), part 2. In the late 60s he became known as producer for the Columbia label, for which he worked as a ‘collage composer’, compiling controversial recordings of trumpet player Miles Davis into an artistic whole. The ‘In a Silent Way’, ‘Bitches Brew’, and ‘Jack Johnson’ productions have become world famous.
