Opera in the 20th century

The history of 21st century opera. Opera from 1900 until now #23: 1922

Many very nice operas were created in 1922, with a lot of variation and exceptional composers. George Gershwin, Karol Szymanowski and Leo Fall brought some of their best compositions, although this statement is a relative one in the case of Szymanowski. Also take a look at the long list of works which were either published or premiered in 1922. Beautiful stuff, and we have only got two hours. We will have to make choices!
