Tonight in Chronicle of Dutch Music we will have a first introduction to the works from the conductors of the nineteenth-century concert hall Felix Meritis.

 

1. Bartholomeus Ruloffs (1741-1801). Drinklied.
Ensemble Pont de la Virtue.

2. Carolus Antonius Fodor (1768-1846). Piano Sonata in F sharp minor, opus 2 no. 2.
Bart van Oort, fortepiano.

3. Johannes Bernardus van Bree (1801-1857). Ouverture ‘Le Bandit’.
Radio Symfonieorkest conducted by Jac van Steen.

4. Johann Wilhelm Wilms (1772-1847).
Symphony No. 4 in C minor, opus 23 ‘Symphonie à Grand Orchestre’.
Residentie Orkest conducted by Ernest Bour.
