thu 1 sep 2022 22:00 hour

Western religious music from different centuries.

On today’s broadcast, we journey to 16th-century Venice. Three composers played a leading role in the musical practice at St. Mark’s Basilica: Adrian Willaert, Claudio Merulo and Giovanni Gabrieli. We will hear motets and psalm settings by each of them.
