The Travel Diaries of Charles Burney, second journey, episode 4: Vienna.

Today is the fourth episode of the second journey of music historian, composer and musician Charles Burney (1726-1814). He made this journey through the Low Countries, Germany and Austria in 1772. Burney still stays in Vienna and visits all kinds of concerts. He met the imperial body physician, Mr L’Augier, and the talented composer Marianna Martinez.
