Nicoline Soeter is – for a period of two years – the city composer in Tilburg. In close collaboration with a wide range of Tilburg residents and organisations, she seeks opportunities to establish a connection between newly composed music and the city’s inhabitants. For example, by participating in Kaapstad, an event in which the city is “captured” by a diverse group of artists and performers. Nicoline selected a wide variety of 20th and 21st century music for the episodes this afternoon and next week.
If you ask the music makers, composers and musicians in our country, what music should everyone really have heard at least once? The entire interview with Nicoline is available in the podcast Music Makers.
