The triple talent of Heinz Holliger
Heinz Holliger (pictured) is not only the leadin obois of his generation, but also an outstanding conductor and highly acclaimed composer. He was awarded the Ernst von Siemens Music Prize, worth €250,000, in 1991 for his work as a composer. Not that he needed the money.
This edition of Contemporary Music is entirely devoted to Holliger as a composer.
