Scandinavian and Baltic Music

Olli Mustonen
In Northern Lights, we devote an hour every week exclusively to Scandinavian and Baltic music. Our musical search knows no boundaries, taking us from the old to the new, from the familiar to the decidedly less familiar. That alco includes the entire spectrum of quasi-classical music and crossover styles. Today’s programme features the first album release of Taivaanvalot, a symphony by Ollie Mustonen, as well as the first of three viola concertos written for Brazilian violist Rafaell Altino.
