Samira’s Blues is the guest at Acoustic Roots
Samira’s Blues was the guest at Podium Oost Utrecht where they played magnetizing North-African spirituals and originals in Arabic, Tamazight and French.
Samira Dainan follows the nomadic trail of her ancestors, she lives in the Sahara of Morocco, attends ceremonies in the Atlas Mountains and the Sous region and is entranced during Gnaoua lila (nights) in Essaouira.
Back in Amsterdam, she writes and composes animated songs for her band. The arrangements have been made by Bas Gaakeer on the guitar.
