Today’s programme takes us on a musical walk through a number of new CD releases. The Château de Versailles label has released Aurora Germanica, a selection of works featuring violinist Louise Ayrton. A three-CD set presents Friedrich Kuhlau’s complete works for piano four hands. Horn player Carla Blackwood offers a first edition devoted to works from Australia, while pianist Juliette Journaux performs transcriptions from the Tristan Generation.
