Alongside Giacomo Puccini, Ottorino Respighi is regarded as one of the most important Italian composers of the early twentieth century. He ushered in the new century by looking back to Italy’s rich musical heritage. Today, we’ll listen to three suites based on music from the Italian Baroque.
