Old style Jazz

Red Nichols (1905-1965) played the cornet with various bands and led many of his own jazz groups. He made recordings from 1922 onwards and became a star soloist, through his work with Sam Lanin and in small studio groups. During this episode, we will listen mainly to recordings from 1924.
