A) Schütz’ Geistliche Chor-Musik – Gli Angeli Genève
Heinrich Schütz was a key figure between the German Renaissance and the Baroque of Bach. From his elaborate oeuvre baritone Stephan MacLeod chose a motet collection which reflects the best of Schütz: ‘Geistliche Chor-Musik’, an ode to the French-Flemish polyphony, rich in elements of the early baroque Italy.
