Violinist Jellantsje de Vries talks about her new CD Kraakhelder, featuring works by Ruth Crawford Seeger, Carl Nielsen, Klaas de Vries and John Cage. The CD will be presented on Saturday in Splendor Amsterdam.
Jellantsje plays a special Hardanger fiddle, which is why violin maker Jan van der Els joins her to tell us all about the instrument.
