Thijs Dercksen – Going down the Hillside
“When I write this introduction, I am traveling by train through Germany. In the distance, I see the hills of the Teutoburg Forest. The weather hasn’t been great in the past few days. There was a hailstorm this afternoon. And now the clouds are hanging low around the hilltops.
‘Going down the Hillside,’ the piece for this episode, is modest, almost shy music, not difficult to play.
The piece is an advance payment for the coming summer. With lots of nature, sun, and beautiful views.”
