Tonight it is al about film music in Free Radicals: well known and lesser known film music, but also soundtracks of imaginary films and music that evoke films by itself. The source of inspiration is Ennio Morricone who, if all is well, will perform with his orchestra later this month at the Ziggo Dome. The maestro, 87 by now, already has had a long and rich musical career, but will mainly be remembered for his soundtracks for spaghetti westerns such as “La Resa Dei Conti” and “C’Era Una Volta Il West”. He recently composed the score for the film “The Hateful Eight” by Quentin Tarantino.
