Amandine Beyer studied with Chiara Banchini in Basel, where she discovered the rhetoric world. The place introduced her to musicians such as Hopkinson Smith and Pedro Memelsdorff.
On Wednesday 3 September, during the Festival Oude Muziek (Early Music) 2014 in Utrecht, Amandine Beyer shall perform at the recently opened TivoliVredenburg. She and Gli Incogniti will play 17th-century Austrian music, by composers like Schmelzer, Froberger, Biber and Pandolfo Mealli.
The theme of the 2014 edition of Festival Oude Muziek is Habsburg, with music from Vienna and Prague.
