Liquid Ghost’s Camera Obscura was originally released in 2004 as a CDr on the Umbra label, but has rightly been reissued recently via Databloem. The group comprises Alessandro Tedeschi (Netherworld), Enrico Cosimi (Tau Ceti), and Gianluigi Gasparetti (Oöphoi).
Monty Adkins is Professor of Experimental Electronic Music at the University of Huddersfield. Recently he has been releasing very dark ambient under the alias Skrika, but under his own name he has previously issued several superb albums of inventive soundscapes. Shibusa is not an instrument, but a Japanese concept describing the inherent simplicity and beauty of everyday objects.
Zaké (Zach Frisell) has by now become a central figure in the ambient/drone genre. Not only has he released no fewer than 75 albums since 2019, he is also the founder of, among others, the Past Inside The Present label. Statica Memoria, however, appears on Joachim Spieth’s Affin label.
