Historical recordings of works of Franz Liszt, performed by De Pachman, Arrau, Lamond, Freire, Berman, Friedman, and Wild
On Sunday morning 18 April, you can listen between 10 and 11 am to the programme Madge-point on www.concertzender.nl. The repetition will be on Thursday morning 22 April 2021 between 11 and 12 am. Due to the corona crisis, this episode was recorded without Louis Thörig and it did not take place in Marco Wensveen’s studio but Geoffrey’s.
Episode 185 is dedicated to notable historical recordings from the past. We’ll feature works of Franz Liszt performed by several pianists: Vladimir de Pachman, Claudio Arrau, Frederik Lamond, Nelson Freire, Lazar Berman, Ignaz Friedman, and Earl Wild.
