Lonnie Johnson (1894-1970) was more of a guitarist than other Blues people, and he had influence on Django Reinhardt, Charlie Cristian, B.B. King and many contemporary guitarists. Nevertheless not many people listen to his work anymore, so that’s why this series of 4 broadcasts is being aired: today part 2, the thirties.
