1972, a year with some beautiful premiers such as: the Partita by Krzysztof Penderecki, Preludes and fugue by Witold Lutosławski, the Cantus Arcticus by Einojuhani Rautavaara and, very special: the Trumpet Concerto no. 1 by Eino Tamberg. In the land of opera, the 1970s are pushing forward which means there are geopolitical themes, people are still looking back at the war, American influences and premieres and lots of beautiful works.
