Ziad Rahbani revisited – Lebanon.
Revisiting the music of the composer and multi-instrumentalist Ziad Rahbani. He was born January 1, 1956 into the most important musical family in Lebanon. His mother is the legendary singer Fairouz. His father, Assi Rahbani – who formed the Rahbani Brothers duo with his brother Mansour- is one of the most important founders of modern Lebanese and Arabic song. In this episode we mainly listen to his work from the 198x, main vocals – in addition to Ziad himself are Sāmi Ḥawāṭ and Joseph Sakr.
