This episode is entirely dedicated to French Baroque violinist David Plantier. David Plantier has built a strong reputation in the world of Early Music with Les Plaisirs du Parnasse and the Duo Tartini, and was heard at the Festival Oude Muziek 2022. On Saturday, April 29, 2023, he will perform in Baarn.
This coming Saturday evening, April 29, Plantier and Les Plaisirs du Parnasse will give a concert in Baarn (Pauluskerk), at the invitation of Kees Koudstaal of the Kunst en Cultuur Baarn foundation and the program maker of this program. They will present a program of trio sonatas by composers such as Jean-Marie Leclair, Guiseppe Tartini, and Antonio Vivaldi.
So, today’s episode of Roaming the Baroque will be entirely filled with music played by Baroque violinist David Plantier.
