Roots & Routes

Back in the sixties, protest and peace songs were all over the American Billboard charts. It was a restless decade with massive cultural shifts and unrest fueled by concerns about social injustice, nature, and the Vietnam War. Times have obviously changed, but the worries and hopes in those sixties protest songs effortlessly bridge the gap to the worries and hopes of today.
