An impression of the diversity and exciting fusions of styles in modern Celtic music that stood at the foundation of my motivation and development as a DJ. Folk rock, rave, Indian classical music, jazz, salsa, funk, dub, psychedelia. Musicians from Spain, Scotland, Norway, Greece and even Western Africa and Latin America. Cross-overs that seem a recipe for disaster on paper but work out unexpectedly natural, fresh, subtle and exciting in real terms. On top of that, this mix was the ‘love letter’ I sent to my loved one which definitely sent sparks flying between us."
