Charles Tolliver Big Band. Trumpet player Charles Tolliver (1942) learned how to orchestrate when he was part of the large orchestra of Gerald Wilson in the 1960s. His biggest problem was however the financing of a large formation. He only managed to arrange that a couple of times and that is what this episode is about.
