Viva Brasil.
A compilation CD with Brazilian songs interpreted by the bands Bacán, O Septeto, Alvorada, Batida and Treme Terra, recorded in 1995 for the annual event Viva Brasil Festival in Amsterdam. A compilation CD with twenty participating troubadours at the Minstreel Concours 1999, held at the Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands. Gerlof Jorritsma could, as winner of the concours, record a CD. However, he had decided to not do this on his own, but with his 20 participants of the Minstreel Concours of the year.

Nederlandse Politie Steelband.
In 1979, the Nederlandse Politie Steelband was established. This Steelband consists of Police officers, who form an own, independent musical unity, of which the members have one thing in common: The Carribean spirit. The repertoire of the Steelband consists of different styles, like the usual steelband repertoire, but also Rock, Pop and even Classic.
