Mike Gibbs, Gil Evans
In December 2012, the English arranger Mike Gibbs recorded an album featuring some of his favourite arrangements of Gil Evans. This album was an hommage the celebrate Evans’ 100th birthday. He added these songs with his own arrangements. Whirlwind released this album under the name of Mike Gibbs + Twelve play Gil Evans.
