Salvatore Antonio Guaragna was born in New York in 1893. His Italian parents changed the family name to Warren, back when Salvatore was still a little boy. Harry Warren mainly wrote songs for musical films that were very popular in the in the 30s and 40s and many of them became Standards. Nevertheless, he didn’t acquire the fame many other composers of the time had obtained. Why? Listen to this episode to get the answer!
