Music for Leisure.
This week and next week we’ll broadcast recordings of the EuroChoir 2017. We made a registration of their concert on 7 July 2017 in the Waalse kerk in Amsterdam. The EuroChoir takes place every year in a different place in Europe. Young singers of high-quality work together a week long on an ambitious programme conducted by two conductors. The EuroChoir is a concept of the ‘European Choral Association Europa Cantat’. For already 15 years EuroChoirs are organised throughout Europe, each year in a different European city. Today we’ll hear the first part of the concert, which is conducted by Italian conductor Lorenzo Donati.
