Festival NOVAM Nuevo: the new NOVAM. The Dutch Organization for Accordion and Harmonica exists 90 years. Towards the centennial a big feast was created in which the accordion would play the leading role.
The Concertzender made recordings of this festival, which took place in De Vereeniging in Nijmegen on 3 November 2018. Both amateur and professional ensembles performed.
In this broadcast you will hear the three Jubilee Accordion Orchestras which were composed specifically for this festival: the Jubilee Youth Accordion Orchestra conducted by Jorind Josemans, the Jubilee Symphonic Accordion Orchestra conducted by Tim Fletcher and the Grand Jubilee Accordion Orchestra conducted by Robert Baas.
