Roedelius and Moebius. In the early 70s the German composers Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius shifted the beacons within the popular electronic music. Heartfelt experiment, pure beauty of sound, and great pop sensibility go well together with this duo. They do pioneering work with their ensembles Cluster and Harmonia. The sad occasion is the death of Moebius on July 20. 80-year old Roedelius continues the tradition and can be admired at the Incubate festival in Tilburg in September.
