The year 2020 is a turbulent year for the USA, and the presidential elections are yet to come. Therefore, in this episode of Theme, two whole hours of healing and hopeful choir sounds from the United States. For, the USA numbers some special choirs, the members of which put their heart and soul into contemporary, experimental choir music. In this Theme, coming up: spectacular a cappella, harmonic overtone singing, and massive choir parts. Famous choirs such as Musica Sacra and Roomful of Teeth perform works of Meredith Monk, Robert Moran, Michael Harrison and Wally Gunn. Besides, we hear choir music by the specialized ensembles of composers David Hykes and Toby Twining.
