Today’s episode is inspired by the six-CD box set The Complete Crazy Sunday at the Lighthouse, recorded on 13 September 1953 and produced by Ken Poston, director of the Los Angeles Jazz Institute. The box set was not made available commercially, but was distributed in a very limited edition exclusively to supporters of the L.A. Jazz Institute.
