Composer: Rabih Abou-Khalil

Rabih Abou -Khalil’s “Em Português”.

The German/Lebanese oud player and composer Rabih Abou-Khalil is inclined to mix the sounds from the Middle East with jazz and other styles. He is therefore known as the musician who uses his oud to make eclectic world jazz. His latest project is another prime example hereof. Inspired by Portuguese fado, Rabih Abou-Khalil wrote a dozen compositions.
6 February next, a special will be dedicated to Rabih Abou-Khalil in the programme Metamorfosen.
