Two great romantic chamber music works in Radio Romantica tonight. Three Swedish friends take off with the clarinet trio by Johannes Brahms. As known, Brahms composed a number of fantastic pieces starring the clarinet in the last years of his life. He was particularly inspired by the performances of Richard Mühlfeld, solo clarinettist of the Court Orchestra in Meiningen, a top orchestra in those years. You will listen to a top clarinettist of our time: Martin Fröst, and he is accompanied by Torleif Thedéen and Roland Pöntinen.
