Trumpet player Freddie Hubbard died of a heart attack on 29 December 2008 at the age of 70. We look back on his musical career that knew many peaks but also many low points.
Hubbard made hundreds of recordings for various labels, including a number of classics with saxophone players such as John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman and Oliver Nelson.
