The American trombone player Jimmy Knepper (1927-2003) part 1. He became especially known in the bands of bass player Charles Mingus with whom he had a love-hate relationship. But he also made some beautiful albums under his own name: today early quintet recordings including baritone saxophone player Pepper Adams from 1958.
