Old style Jazz. In the 30’s, Klaas van Beeck (1903-1979) became a prominent arranger for the most significant Dutch dance orchestras, like the Ramblers. He often played with these orchestras and accompanied Benny Carter on Dutch Radio. He eventually became an orchestra leader and would continue to do so, long after the war had ended.
