Episode 1398. In this Bach Week, we will hear cantatas from 1728, 1730, 1731 and 1735. A new recording of the ‘Actus Tragicus’ is also featured. Today we will start with the cantata ‘Wir danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir’ BWV 29, written for Ratswechsel on 27 August 1731.
