This year, Amsterdam-Zuid will again become a vibrant musical landscape for all ages. The theme of the 8th edition of the festival Muze van Zuid is “Amsterdam-Zuid: Refuge for Music.” The Concertzender will be there to record several concerts, which we will broadcast this autumn.
From September 10-14, top musicians, local residents, artists, and storytellers will bring colour to a five-day festival full of classical music, global sounds, cabaret and jazz. The programme is brimming with new compositions, groundbreaking crossovers, workshops for children and walks with storytellers through parks and leafy streets, leading to intimate living room concerts. Concerts will also be held in unique locations, some of which are closed to the public outside of the festival.
