Episode 1288. We continue our exploration of the cantatas in chronological order. We’ve now reached the cantatas Bach composed in December of 1724 and January of 1725. We’ll kick off with chorale cantata “Das neugeborne Kindelein” BWV 122, for the first Sunday after Christmas on 31 December 1724.
