Cuban pianist Harold López-Nussa is considered one of the leading innovators in contemporary Latin jazz. López-Nussa’s enthusiasm, energy and technical ingenuity are astounding. On the live album Nueva Timba—released by Blue Note Records on September 5, 2025—he once again blends the rich traditions of Cuban music with a contemporary jazz sound. The result is an infectious album packed with quintessential Latin jazz!
