We are very sorry to announce that on Saturday our former world music coordinator Carolien Cleiren passed away suddenly, but after a long illness.
Carolien Cleiren (78) was coordinator of the world music department between 2009 and 2015. Thereafter she remained active as a programme maker for the Acoustic Roots programme until very recently.
We remember her as a very involved employee with a heart for music and for the department she led. We will miss Carolien very much and send her family our very sincerest condolences on their loss.
