This episode of Popart the Greek composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist Evangelos Papathanassiou, better known under his alias Vangelis, takes center stage. We focus on the period from 1969 to 1975, with songs by his band Aphrodite’s Child and his solo records, several of which are soundtracks. Producers Maurice Dumont and Bob Rusche are both fascinated by his versatile musical genius. That’s why X-ray on april 14th will also be dedicated to Vangelis.
