Educational programme with old music. . Rosenmüller in Venice – Old Music Festival part 2.

The Venetian school fascinated musicians and composers with its remarkable double choirs; they traveled from all over Europe to the bustling music city.

 

One of them was the German Johann Rosenmüller. In 1658, he was appointed chapel master of the San Marco, which he would remain for 25 years.
