Damas del Tango, episode 11: Ada Falcón
The series Damas del Tango pays attention to female singers in tango music. The 11th episode is devoted to Ada Falcón. Her records were recorded between 1925 and 1938. Most of them she recorded with the orchestra of Francisco Canaro.
Her life was one of extremes. In her successful singing career she was a diva with outrageous demands. After breaking with Canaro she moved back in with her mother in a small mountain village where she led a good and pious life following the Third Order of Saint Francis.
