You will be listening to new releases: Big Sun from Belgium, traditional Norwegian group Raagbygg, singer Erik Aliana & Picket from Cameroon, modern folk and indie pop by Valkyrien from Norway and English singer-songwriter John Coxon.

Big Sun consists of Benoît Casen, Renaud Lhoest, Benjamin Gillis and Boris Iori. The group formed after seeing a book filled with drawings and illustrations, photo collages and texts on the future of trench soldier Louis Olivier, who escaped the trenches by building a flying machine.

The trio Raagbygg comes from Norway and consists of three musicians, who provide the vocals as well, who went in search of the old masters of folk music.

Songwriter and guitarist Erik Aliana has just released his fourth CD ‘Just my soul’ together with guitarist, flutist, bass player and percussionist Picket. The result is a tranquil CD, beautifully sung and played, with wonderfully thought-through lyrics of which a translation is included.

English singer-songwriter John Coxon lives in the Netherlands. He recently released his second album: ‘Ordinary Life.’ You will hear, among others, the song ‘Shelter from the Rain,’ which descrobes the lives of fugitives who are on their way to their destination, somewhere in Europe.
