Compiled by our Jazz-desk. Ruth Price (1938) started off as a ballet dancer, but very soon after preferred singing and has done just that since 1954. In 1955 en 1956 she made her first albums. Today recordings are from 1961, with the band of percussionist Shelly Manne.
