40 jaar Surinaamse muziek in Nederland.
Just before the Surinamese independence in 1975, large groups of Surinamese traveled to the Netherlands. They included a range of cultural expressions, including music. The IKO Foundation has taken on production for a book with 2 CDs featuring 40 Surinamese artists who have stamped the Surinamese music in the Netherlands over the period 1975-2015. Today we play the cd.1 of this book, with artists including: The Nazi, Raj Mohan, Lieve Hugo, Trafassi and many others. All artists representing the Surinam diversity of music in the Netherlands.
